Golf Umbrella

Stationary Parasol
These are a form of umbrella that is found in a public area like a beach, market, or even a patio which are quite heavy and can protect several people from the sun. There are some newer designs that have a type of coating that stops UV rays, but these can even be found in a more transportable version that is only 9 to 6 feet wide which can be folded up and transported wherever you are going.

Personal Parasol
This are a design that comes from the past and allows a person to have a bit of shade. It is not water resistant and it is more a piece of fashion which you can show off your status and help you to maintain a great tan. These are often be able to be seen in large cities simply because the levels of UV radiation that are rising which can cause a lot of skin issues. They are mainly used in Asia.

Funny or Gadget Umbrella
This is a version that is very popular. The most popular version has a cup holder on it and then there are some that when folded up will look like a samurai sword and then there some that have certain designs that make the umbrella fun. There are even some that can be folded into a purse, strapped to your back and even some that can light up.

Paper Umbrella

These are a type of umbrella that was used in ancient times, but they have managed to become a part of a lot of different cultures. However, Asian countries see them as a religious symbol as well as a very useful tool.

Artistic Umbrella
There are some fashion designers that will create high cost umbrellas. They can be made from rare materials or even have really special designs on them; however you will hardly ever see these on the street.

High Wind or Storm Umbrella
If storms are taking over where you live and you are having heavy rains, high winds, and just in general bad weather, then you may not be able to use your average umbrella. However, these Storm umbrellas are made to be stand winds up to 55 miles per hour and they are reinforced to be used in this type of environment.

Bubble Umbrella
This is a type of umbrella that is recognized easily due to their shape. The canopy is much smaller than a regular one. They are also very popular because they have transparent material under the canopy and some even have binocular cut outs that allow you to have visibility.

Pocket Umbrella
These are very small and can be much more portable than regular ones. You can carry them in jacket pockets and used when you face a sudden downpour. However, because they are so small, they may not be that durable and the construction is not that great.

Automatic Umbrella
These allow you to open and even close them using a single hand. The small size means that you can carry them in your purse, backpack, or briefcase.

Classic Umbrella
This is the most common type of umbrella on the market right now. They are often made with a polyester, wood or metal shaft and the canopy is made from a waterproof microfiber material.
